What is TRUTH?

A famous ruler once asked a very serious question: “What is truth?” John 18:38 Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? Of course, Pilate was asking Jesus Christ this question. Jesus Christ had already told him “Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.” (John 18:37.) Jesus Christ had already told his disciples that HE IS the Truth: John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Deuteronomy 32:4 He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he. God is without sin. He is a Holy God of TRUTH.

Who is Jesus Christ?

Jesus Christ also said that God’s Word is truth. John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. God’s word, the Holy Bible, tells us that Jesus Christ is The Word made flesh. John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. Revelation 19:13b: and his name is called The Word of God. Jesus Christ is God.

The truth about our sin

He is The LORD. He had no beginning. John 1:1-2 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The Lord Jesus Christ created you and I. John 1:3 The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. The truth is that we have all broken God’s ten commandments, that is called sin. The wages of sin is death. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. God’s wrath is upon the unbeliever.

God’s loving plan

Judgment, punishment for your sins in hell, for ever. John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. Psalm 9:17a The wicked shall be turned into hell, The truth is that only God can forgive your sins, because your sins are against him. Psalm 51:2-4a Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight:

Jesus died for us

Jesus Christ was miraculously born of a virgin, humbly took on flesh, lived a sinless life, and died in your place. Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. The truth is that only Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh, came to take your punishment on the cross. This is the good news!

We all need to repent and believe

Isaiah 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. The truth is that Jesus Christ shed his Holy blood, died, was buried, and IS risen again! 1 Corinthians 15:3b-4: Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: Now that you know the TRUTH, you are fully accountable for accepting or rejecting Jesus Christ. You could die today, and spend eternity in hell.

Hope lives in the TRUTH of Jesus

Please don’t reject God’s Gift of Truth, Jesus Christ, who died for your sins. Please put all your faith in Jesus Christ to save you and give you everlasting life today. Ephesians 2:8-9a For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, God loves you and died for you to make a way, The Way to be saved through faith in The Lord Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross. Repent and believe the gospel, ask Jesus Christ to forgive you of your sins today. Luke 19:9 And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, don’t reject the truth of Jesus Christ and his free gift eternal life.
